I like the juxtapositions in these comics -- the psychiatrist with the psychological problem, the human getting treated like a pet/having his humanity trivialized when he is asked to die...these are deep, man! Also I like the way wish fulfillment as the central premise, as it has been in fairy tales for thousands of years, never quite works out, as it often doesn't in real life. Good work Mr. Hughes!
